Antiphospholipid syndrome (APS) is an autoimmune disorder that causes blood clots. Therefore, it is important for pregnant women to follow a medical treatment plan to prevent pregnancy complications.
The most common treatment involves the use of acetylsalicylic acid and heparin. In addition, strict multidisciplinary monitoring throughout the pregnancy is essential.
