Artificial insemination by husband (AIH) or with the partner's sperm is a low complexity and low cost fertility treatment. This reproductive option is indicated when the cause of sterility is mild, both in the man and in the woman. Some of the situations in which CAI is recommended are shown in the image:
- Cervical factor.
- Grade I endometriosis.
- Impossibility of semen deposition.
- Mild male factor.
In addition, AIH can also be the solution to fertility problems if there is infertility of unknown origin or due to immunological causes.
