The ICSI technique is an in vitro fertilization method that consists of introducing the sperm directly into the egg. A microinjector is used for this purpose.
IVF-ICSI is the technique most commonly used today by most fertility clinics, but it is especially indicated in cases of severe male infertility, failures in previous conventional IVF cycles and if PGT is to be performed.
