Assisted reproduction is indicated for couples who are experiencing trouble when trying to conceive a baby after a year of regular intercourse.
Unless otherwise required after detecting a condition or genetic abnormality, in which case the treatment would be started at once, couples should wait at least one year before getting started with a fertility treatment.
