Each assisted reproduction treatment has a cost that depends on the fertility clinic where it is performed and the services included in the package. As a general guide, the price of artificial insemination can range from €700 to €1,700. This difference depends, among other factors, on the origin of the sperm.
On the other hand, in vitro fertilization (IVF) is a more expensive fertility treatment compared to artificial insemination. Its price is approximately €3,500–€5,500.
In both cases, the cost of hormonal medication must be added to the price of fertility treatments. Artificial insemination requires a lower hormonal dose than IVF, so the costs range from around €250–€600 and €1,000–€1,200, respectively.
