Antioxidants are substances that help reduce oxidation and aging of cells. In addition, antioxidants have effects on semen, as they reduce the amount of ROS and cause less sperm DNA fragmentation.
ROS also reduce sperm motility and alter sperm shape. Therefore, the administration of antioxidants would also increase sperm motility and morphology.
