Hysteroscopy is a very common practice in gynecology, although there are certain situations in which it is not recommended because it can pose a danger to the woman herself. These situations include: pelvic infections, excessive bleeding in the uterus, the possibility of cervical cancer or even an ongoing pregnancy.
