In addition to egg and sperm preservation, there is also the option of cryopreserving embryos. The procedure for vitrifying embryos is very similar to the egg cryopreservation process.
Once the embryos have been cultured in the laboratory, the process of cryopreservation begins. For this, the embryos are introduced in different solutions with cryoprotectants and finally introduced into a straw at -196ºC. This straw with the embryos will be placed in liquid nitrogen tanks where they will be stored until the time comes to use them.
