Artificial insemination (AI) is a low complexity assisted reproduction technique. It involves preparing the sperm in the laboratory beforehand in order to artificially introduce it into the woman's uterus. The moment of insemination must coincide with ovulation to increase the probability of success.
Once the specialist has inseminated the patient, the period known as beta wait begins until the pregnancy test is performed. It is necessary to wait about 15 days to do a pregnancy test and to be able to obtain a reliable result.
