    Hello everyone,

Just wondering if I will be accepted as an egg donor despite having suffered from hepatitis A… It’s been a year now since I overcame this disease and I’m 35 years old… Will I be allowed or not?

Thank you very much in advance!

  2. Hello,

The screening of prospective egg donors includes a complete blood analysis in which viral infections such as Hepatitis B and C are analyzed as well as many others. However, Hepatitis A is not included, so you must tell your doctor about it and proceed according to his/her indications to make sure there is no risk of transmission.

    Hope this helps 😉
