Hey, I had a laparoscopy done on day 20th to remove one cyst and the report came back with an endometriosis diagnosis 🙁 Dr says I only one one tube with tubal patency and I’m now wondering what are my actual chances of getting pregnant… If not possible, what should I do? Thx

  2. Dear sullysan,

Natural pregnancy is still possible with one tube, but it will be more challenging than if you had both tubes. To put it simply, the months when you release an egg from the ovary that lacks the tube, the sperm won’t be able to reach the egg. In other words, you have a 50/50 chance of becoming pregnant.

The most appropriate infertility treatment to achieve pregnancy in cases like yours is In Vitro Fertilization (IVF). Read: What Is In Vitro Fertilization (IVF)? – Process, Cost & Success Rates.

    I hope this helps,
