Hello,
I suffer from a heart disease, and for this reason I cannot become pregnant, I mean, there is no physical way I could fall pregnant because, if I did so, hormone changes may cause several consequences on me or even lead to death. At least, that was my physician’s conclusion 🙁
I’m terrified, you know? That’s the reason why I need to use a gestational carrier plus an egg donor, because it’s not only that I can’t get pregnant, but also that if I have offspring, they might inherit my heart disease… That’s why I’ve thought my sister could become my donor, this way at least there would be some genetical connection between my son/daughter and I, is this possible? Could my sister deliver her eggs to me so that I can continue with the surrogacy process?
Thnx

both surrogacy and egg donation are allowed in the U.S. state of California. Besides, the so-called “known donation” is allowed as well, which means that yes, you can use your sister to be your egg donor. You can both travel to California and get started with the whole process there.
Best wishes
