The basic test for the study of male fertility is the seminogram, that is, an analysis of the macroscopic and microscopic parameters of the semen. However, analyzing FSH hormone levels in the male also provides valuable information about whether there is any seminal alteration.
The normal FSH level in the male is between 1 and 12 mIU/mL. When the amount of FSH in the male is below 1 mIU/mL, it means that there may be hyperprolatinemia, hypogonadism, etc.
