Administration of FSH with an injection pen

FSH as a drug can be obtained from two different sources: urinary and recombinant (rFSH). Urinary FSH is obtained by purifying the urine of menopausal women; and rFSH is obtained thanks to genetic engineering techniques, which is why its cost is a little higher.
