Synchronizing egg donor and recipient

When fresh donor eggs are used, synchronizing cycles is a key step to optimize the chances of success.

By "cycle synchronization" we mean syncing up the menstrual cycles of the donor and the recipient. To this end, contraceptives and fertility drugs are used.
