When a woman wants to be a single mother, the first treatment she is offered is artificial insemination with donor sperm or DAI, as it is a very simple and economical procedure.
The treatment consists of using the semen from an anonymous donor, from a semen bank, to introduce it into the uterus of the woman who wishes to achieve pregnancy.
The requirements to be able to do an artificial insemination and be a single mother are to have a good ovarian reserve and permeable fallopian tubes to allow the passage of sperm.
