Hypospermia is defined as low semen volume. Semen volume is considered normal when the amount of ejaculate is between 1.5 and 6 mL, according to the reference values of the World Health Organization (WHO).
If, in addition to hypospermia, the man has another seminal disorder such as low sperm concentration (oligospermia), poor sperm motility, or altered sperm morphology, then the probability of pregnancy is reduced.
