The adhesions that appear in the uterus are known as uterine synechiae and it is the most prominent characteristic of Asherman's syndrome.
Among the possible causes of uterine synechiae are:
- Uterine curettage.
- Postpartum hemorrhages.
- Myoma removal.
- Infectious endometritis.
