Endometriosis is a cause of female infertility that causes the presence of endometrial tissue in locations such as the ovaries or fallopian tubes, for example.
Some of the possible symptoms that women with endometriosis present are bleeding between periods known as metrorrhagia or pain during sexual intercourse (dyspareunia). In addition, endometriosis can also cause bleeding and pain when urinating (hematuria), as well as in the pelvic area.
