Although mini IVF or mild ovarian stimulation has many benefits, it is a fertility treatment that also has some disadvantages. For example, ovarian stimulation with low hormonal doses means that fewer eggs are obtained, so fewer embryos will be available.
Another disadvantage of mini IVF is the possibility of having a blank puncture, that is to say, that no egg will be recovered. In this case, it will be necessary to do another cycle of ovarian stimulation or resort to another fertility treatment.
