During the ovarian stimulation process, the woman should have frequent ultrasound and analytical controls. These are two basic tests that allow the specialist to evaluate the ovarian response to hormonal treatment and to estimate the number of eggs that can be extracted in the follicular puncture. To do this, the follicular size will be measured by transvaginal ultrasound and estradiol in the blood will be determined from a blood sample.
