Although Ovitrelle is especially indicated in fertility treatments, it cannot always be used since it will depend on the characteristics and particular situation of each patient.
For example, women who are allergic to recombinant hCG (the active ingredient in Ovitrelle) or who have ovarian, uterine or mammary tumors, the administration of this drug is not indicated. Likewise, if the patient presents spontaneous vaginal bleeding, has cysts, a history of extrauterine pregnancy, etc., the administration of Ovitrelle is contraindicated.
