The active ingredient in Ovitrelle is the hormone hCG and pregnancy tests measure the presence of beta hCG. Therefore, if not too much time has passed since the administration of Ovitrelle, the pregnancy test result could be a false positive.
To avoid errors, it is recommended to wait at least 10-14 days after Ovitrelle administration to perform a pregnancy test.
