When a woman is going to take an ovulation test, it is important that she monitors her menstrual cycle, as this will avoid unnecessary testing if there is still no possibility of ovulation. It is also advisable to repeat the ovulation test always at the same time, preferably first thing in the morning, as the first urine is less diluted.
Another tip before taking an ovulation test is not to urinate for about 4 hours before the test.
