Ovarian drilling is a technique that allows the stimulation of ovulation by making numerous perforations in the ovary. This technique is performed using a laser or an electric scalpel. It is a surgical procedure used for the treatment of polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS).
The advantage of ovarian drilling is that it is a safe and highly effective technique, since ovulation is achieved in most cases.
