Artificial insemination (AI) is an assisted reproduction technique that does not have great risks, since it is a fairly simple procedure. However, there are certain complications that can occur at different times throughout the AI cycle:
- Consequences derived from the ovarian stimulation process.
- Risks derived from the insemination technique itself.
- Complications associated with pregnancy.
Therefore, it is important that women know these possible risks of AI before starting treatment.
