When three consecutive miscarriages occur before the 20th week of pregnancy, it is considered a situation of repeated miscarriages or recurrent miscarriages. The causes of recurrent miscarriages are diverse and sometimes even unknown. Some of them are: genetic, immunological, anatomical or endocrine causes.
In addition, the woman's age is also a factor to be taken into account. The older the woman is, the greater the risk of miscarriage if her own eggs are used due to their poorer quality.
