The World Health Organization (WHO) published back in 2010 a series of reference values to interpret correctly the results of a semen analysis report. Thanks to these guidelines, we can learn if a man has male infertility issues or not. The different parameters can be examined through both a macroscopic and microscopic examination.
A macroscopic examination is used to evaluate those parameters that are visible to the naked eye, including sperm volume, sperm viscosity and pH.
