Tubal ligation reversal is a significantly more complex surgery than the tubal ligation procedure itself. Therefore, the duration of tubal reversal is also longer, and can even reach two hours.
Sometimes it is possible to perform tubal ligation using microsurgery. On the other hand, other times it is necessary to make an incision in the abdomen and will require more recovery time.
However, it is common to use microsurgical techniques to reverse tubal ligation, so the woman will be recovered within 2 weeks of the procedure.
