Sperm freezing is a technique that allows the preservation of fertility in oncology patients. These patients may see their reproductive capacity affected once the chemotherapy or radiotherapy treatment is finished. This is why it is highly recommended to freeze several semen samples before starting cancer treatment.
With sperm freezing, these patients will be able to become parents once the disease has been overcome by using their frozen sperm and assisted reproduction techniques.
