During week 2 of pregnancy, counting from the first day of the last menstrual period (LMP), pregnancy has not taken place yet. Actually, at this point the woman's body is preparing for ovulation: a mature egg is released from the ovary and starts traveling toward the Fallopian tube, waiting for a sperm cell to hit and fertilize it.
