Males who suffer too much pain as a result of varicocele will undergo surgery. For this purpose, microsurgery is usually applied, either via the inguinal or subinguinal route.
Once the varicocele has been operated, it is important for the patient to rest for the following two days. In addition, it is advisable to apply ice to the testicular area to reduce inflammation.
On some occasions, the specialist will indicate the patient to wear a scrotal support after the varicocele surgery.
