Increased leukocyte count in semen and pregnancy

Leucospermia, or an increase of white blood cells in the semen, can cause male infertility.

This is because leukocytes may cause sperm to clump together, causing problems with sperm movement. In addition, a large number of pyocytes can lead to increased oxidative stress, thus reducing sperm quality.
