One of the options to treat men suffering from azoospermia, that is, total absence of spermatozoa in the ejaculate, is to resort to the administration of hormones.
This therapeutic option can be applied as long as the azoospermia is secretory and not obstructive. In these cases, the administration of FSH, GnRH or testosterone could help sperm production.
