Sometimes it is difficult to know the exact cause of cryptorchidism, i.e., non-descent of the testicles. However, there are some risk factors for cryptorchidism in the male. Some of them are listed below:
- Low birth weight.
- Prematurity.
- Alcoholism during pregnancy.
- Exposure to toxins.
- Smoking during pregnancy.
