Cryopreserved eggs can be kept at -196ºC for an indefinite period of time without altering their quality. However, when you want to use them to achieve pregnancy, they must be devitrified and fertilized. For this purpose, the indicated fertilization technique is sperm microinjection or ICSI. This involves introducing the sperm directly into the oocytes.
In this way, the embryos obtained after fertilization will remain in culture until day 3-5 of development.
