In women with endometriosis, there are certain risks associated with pregnancy. Early in pregnancy, there is a greater risk of miscarriage and ectopic pregnancy than in the general population. On the other hand, in later stages of pregnancy, there is a risk of premature delivery and the mother developing preeclampsia.
