Ultrasound to see the endometrium

During a gynecological examination in which a transvaginal ultrasound is performed on the woman, it is possible to measure the thickness of the endometrium and identify what type it is.

When three clearly identified lines are observed, the endometrium has a trilaminar pattern that corresponds to type II. At this point, the endometrium is receptive and has the appropriate thickness for implantation to take place.
