Hysteroscopy is a diagnostic and therapeutic technique that is performed to clearly visualize the inside of the uterus. To do this, a hysteroscope is inserted through the vagina and cervix.
Therefore, hysteroscopy allows the health care professional to look for polyps or fibroids. In addition, through the hysteroscope, other gynecological tools such as tweezers, scalpel, etc. are introduced to remove them.
