The use of estrogens has different indications. For example, it can be used for:
- Premature ovarian failure.
- Hyperprolactinemia.
- Menstrual cycle disorders.
- Acne.
- Prevention of osteoporosis.
In addition, estrogens are also commonly used in assisted reproduction treatments for endometrial preparation and as a treatment for menopausal symptoms.
