DNA Sperm Fragmentation

Sperm DNA fragmentation is a genetic cause of male infertility. These are small breaks in the single or double chain of sperm DNA, which causes greater difficulty in achieving a pregnancy and high rates of miscarriage.

There are different causes that lead to the fragmentation of the genetic material of the spermatozoa such as high temperature in the testicular area, seminal infections, exposure to contaminants, etc.
