Semen analysis: interpretation of results

    I did a semen analysis and the results were as follows:
    Volume – about 1.5 ml
    Viscosity- Thick
    Motility- about 20 % Motile – about 30 % sluggish movement – about 50 % dead
    Total Count – 30 millions/ umm
    Leucocytes – 10 – 15 hpf
    Please can you help to analyse the information and give me some prescriptions?
    and give me suggest… any antibiotic

    Your values are within the normal range according to the WHO’s guidelines, but are just at the limit of what’s considered normal. The presence of leukocytes or white blood cells (WBC) indicates an infection which should be treated with antibiotics. Treatment against leukocytospermia or pyospermia will allow you to recover higher sperm count and sperm motility values. My advice is that you take another semen analysis within 3 months at most.
