The hCG hormone drugs are used in assisted reproductive techniques. Because they trigger the final maturation of the ovarian follicles and ovulation, they are used to control the timing of ovulation, which is important in assisted reproduction treatment.
On the other hand, hCG drugs are also useful when a woman has problems with oligoovulation or anovulation.
