Ovarian stimulation is a key step in all IVF cycles. It involves the artificial stimulation of the ovaries in order to trigger the production of multiple mature eggs. Although this step lasts about 6-10 approximately, in some cases it can extend to up to 14 days, Dr. Martín Hidalgo says.
