LH drugs can be used during the ovarian stimulation phase of both in vitro fertilization (IVF) and artificial insemination (AI) treatment. The advantages of these drugs are that they allow for increased oocyte development, improve endometrial preparation and increase the rate of embryo implantation and, therefore, pregnancy.
In addition, LH also improves serum estradiol levels in patients.
