Spermatogenesis is a process that occurs regularly in the seminiferous tubules, which means that spermatozoa are continuously being produced and stored in the epididymis. Then, they start a journey toward the vasa deferentia, and that is when their pathway to be ejected through the urethra with ejaculation starts. Throughout that journey, sperms are covered with different fluids segregated by the glands that produce seminal fluid thereby creating what we know as semen.
