An attempt in assisted reproduction means the times that a woman or a couple undergoes any assisted reproduction technique to achieve a pregnancy. However, the number of attempts is usually limited because a fertility treatment involves emotional strain and a large financial outlay. In addition, another objective of limiting the attempts of IVF or AI is to reduce the possible risks derived from the process.
