The sperm count in the ejaculate is a crucial factor when it comes to determining whether a man is fertile or not.
To get an oligospermia (low sperm count) diagnosis, it is necessary to collect a semen sample and examine it with a semen analysis or seminogram. Once the sperm count is observed under the microscope, the type of oligospermia is diagnosed. It can be normal, mild, moderate, or severe.
