How should the endometrium be for the transfer?

When the embryo transfer is scheduled, the endometrium must be receptive. This means that it must be of adequate thickness and appearance to favor embryo implantation and, therefore, pregnancy.

If the endometrium is too thin and does not have a trilaminar aspect, the embryo will not be able to unite and embryo implantation will not occur.

For this reason, endometrial preparation is fundamental. During this stage, the patient will be administered estrogens and progesterone, in addition to visiting the fertility clinic on several occasions for successive ultrasound checks.
