Some women diagnosed with salpingitis may develop complications such as chronic pelvic pain or infertility. In addition, salpingitis is also associated with an increased risk of ectopic pregnancy, that is, implantation of the embryo outside the uterus.
Salpingitis can also cause liver damage in patients. For all these reasons, it is important to have control of this pathology.
